The Grand Site des Deux Caps is unquestionably one of the most beautiful spots on the Opal Coast and the shores of the Pas-de-Calais. It is formed of two capes (deux caps in French), Cap Blanc-Nez and Cap Gris-Nez, in a blend of varying landscapes of dunes, cliffs and lush green hillsides. To explore the Grand Site des Deux Caps, just a few minutes’ drive from Camping La Bien Assise, you can walk along the beach – one of the most beautiful in France – or follow one of the hiking trails which criss-cross the whole region. Whatever your choice, you will fall for the charms of its ravishing wilderness. The best place to admire the scenery remains the heights of Cap Blanc-Nez. At the top of its 134 metre tall cliffs, you can revel in the magnificent views of the entire region and even, on clear days, the coast of England.
